Andy Sands

Chief Executive Officer

Andy Sands, Chief Executive Officer of The Orden Company, oversees all facets of the business. He is a seasoned real estate investor and executive corporate leader. Prior to joining Orden, Andy was the Managing Partner and Chief Real Estate Officer of Carmel Partners, Managing Director at Lowe Enterprises Investors, Founder of investment firm, Brooktree Realty Investors, and Managing Principal at ING Realty Partners and its successor, Concert Realty Partners. Andy has an MBA from the Anderson Graduate School of Business at UCLA, and a BA in Economics and History from Stanford University.

Sean Tabor

Chief Operating Officer

As Chief Operating Officer, Sean oversees all real estate activities for The Orden Company, including acquisitions, development, property management, and leasing. He has extensive operational and capital markets expertise, having formerly been the COO of WCB Properties, Vice President of Hillman Properties, Director at Catellus Development, and a Founding Principal of Oxbow Partners. He has an MBA from the Marshall School of Business at USC, a BA in Business Economics at UCSB, and is a Certified Public Accountant (inactive).

Jim Price

Chief Financial Officer

Jim Price, Chief Financial Officer of The Orden Company, leads the finance, accounting, tax, investment management and planning functions. He is an accomplished financial executive with broad cross-functional experience in real estate, family office, corporate and privately held organizations. Prior to joining Orden, Jim was the Senior Financial Executive of an 85 person UHNW Family Office, CFO of CBRE’s Asia Pacific Region and CFO of the Lewis Group of Companies. He began his career specializing in real estate clients at KPMG where he received CPA accreditation. Jim earned an MBA degree from the Harvard Business School and a BS degree from the University of Southern California.

Metro Malasavage III
Head of Station Properties and Environmental Affairs

Metro oversees our portfolio of convenience stores, gas stations and billboard properties as well as our environmental affairs company. Prior to joining Orden, he spent 30+ years with major oil companies throughout the United States and Europe serving in executive roles in all aspects of wholesale, retail and commodity marketing. He received his BS degree in Business Administration from Delaware Valley University and did his MBA studies at Seattle University.

Matthew H. Kagan
General Counsel

Matthew H. Kagan is General Counsel for The Orden Company and responsible for managing the Company’s legal affairs. In such capacity Mr. Kagan focuses significant efforts on the negotiating and drafting of contracts and addressing the Company’s compliance and risk management needs. He has broad experience handling commercial and residential real estate transactions. Prior to joining The Orden Company, Mr. Kagan practiced real estate, business and insurance law handling transactional and litigation work at a national law firm and served as Associate General Counsel for real estate developer Shapell Industries. He earned his J.D. degree from Santa Clara University and his B. S. degree in Business Administration from Chapman University.
